University of Sussex delegation visit to TWI Innovation Network
An academic delegation from the University of Sussex visited TWI Cambridge on 11 July, including heads of departments and research units at the University of Sussex; Professor Maziar Nekovee, Professor Julian Dunne and Professor Chris Chatwin. The anticipated visit was a follow up to earlier interactions and meetings between the University of Sussex and the TWI Innovation Network.
The Sussex delegation had a chance to see the Innovation Centres and TWI laboratories in action whilst appreciating the state of the art engineering facilities and some of the bespoke mechanical testing equipment that can be seen on site in full use. The discussions enabled introductions with other Innovation Centres on site and also led to the exploration of potential collaborative research areas.
