The TWI Innovation Network attended a number of back-to-back meetings in an event organised by the EEN at the heart of the City of London, as the point of attraction for industrial collaboration and innovation partnerships.
The meeting included a number of SMEs from Turkey, notably active in the start-up and SME phase looking to expand their product portfolio and international capabilities through potential collaborations and commerce. The day hosted a number of SMEs in the software business with areas of interest from management and logistics software to IoT, industry 4.0, medical and GIS applications. The attending companies have specialist backgrounds in software development as well as capabilities for firmware and systems integration, which can be aligned with the requirements of the industrial strategy in the UK, and hence can result in multiple joint country initiatives.
TWI Innovation Network offers industrial companies access to multiple innovation platforms and engages in collaborative projects through the Accelerated Innovation Programme (AIP) across its innovation ecosystem.
The programme is of particular interest to SMEs seeking support in their product and process developments.
