TWI Innovation Network have several activities on the subject of energy materials, from electrification of vehicles to powering for renewable energy, and solar panels. The Industrial Members of the network have a portfolio of activities from ultrasonic treatment of materials for improved structure and properties to carbon capture processes and bi-products in the form of minerals and materials that can be used for construction, engineering and energy efficient buildings. TWI Innovation Network attended the latest discussions as part of the Energy Materials Group Board in London at the IOM3 HQ. Several events and collaborative initiatives are being considered for bringing together the stakeholders in the industry and academia to focus on energy materials. The subject is even more relevant today as innovation drives applications with improvements in materials use.
