The Intelliscan project will develop an artificial intelligence, machine-learning-enhanced MRI scanning system for highly efficient and more accurate breast cancer screening.
The technology applies computer-based image processing to deliver improved and instant automated anomaly detection for breast MRI scans. Based on yearly licensing fees, the successful exploitation of the technology will result in cumulative revenue of £32.5m over six years post-launch in the healthcare market.
