Polymers Technical Group Event:
New applications for advanced engineering plastics
Today, advanced engineering plastics and composites are being used in a wide range of industries to replace metals in many safety-critical applications. If you are a manufacturer considering using plastics to replace your metal parts then attendance at this one-day seminar will allow you to find out more about specific applications where this has been done successfully in different industry sectors.
The seminar, which will be held in TWI’s newly built, £43M facilities at its Great Abington headquarters, will bring together international speakers from material manufacturers, welding equipment manufacturers and researchers, who will describe novel applications where plastics have been used in very demanding environments in various industries, including medical, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas and additive manufacturing.
Who should attend?
Manufacturers and researchers who are interested in finding out more about the benefits of using plastics to replace metals in critical environments and would like to see where this has been done in other industry sectors.
