NSIRC partners with leading universities to enable students to undertake MScs while being exposed to real-world industrial experience. The following Masters degrees are currently open for applications:
-
Structural Integrity (Asset Reliability Management) offered by Brunel University London
-
Oil and Gas Engineering offered by Brunel University London
-
Engineering Leadership and Management offered by Aston University
As well as being able to study for one of these MScs full-time, students now have the option to undertake the MSc part-time over two years while based at their current place of work. This flexible approach means that the employee can undertake their studies without giving up their current role. Simultaneously, the employer benefits from the member of staff gaining a higher level qualification whilst being able to retain the individual’s skills and experience in the workplace.
Students taking the full-time route are based at NSIRC in TWI at Granta Park, Cambridge. This provides students with the opportunity to work in TWI’s state-of-the-art laboratories and gain valuable industry experience from working with TWI technical personnel. Successful post graduate students have gone on to work for industrial companies, and research and consultancy organisations, around the globe including Mott McDonald, PTT Global Chemical, Network Rail and TWI.
